And you are part of that building Christ has built as a place for Godʼs own Spirit to live. Ephesians 2:22(CEV)

Find a place to work, stay, worship, visit or a place to call home are some of the task we resolve in life. When we are asked to talk about places, instinctively we focus on beautiful places we admired or the awfulness of what we observed. Even though we may have visited many places, we do not remember each one of them. Why is it so? Today I want to talk about a place in your heart where you meet with the Lord. A place where you will never forget, He said, Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me (Revelation 3:20) He again reminds us “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not (Jeremiah 33:3). Have you ever tried to call and meet up with the Lord?

Let us look at some examples of people who met with the Lord in such places: Abraham at Moriah where he was instructed to sacrifice Isaac: “And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.” (Genesis 22:14) Jacob, on his way to Haran took a stone and laid on it and had a dream. When he awoke, he said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.” (Genesis 28:16) Moses, at the burning bush which did not consume with fire. The angel said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.” (Exodus 3:5)

This P.L.A.C.E is Position of Love, Adoration, Communion and Empowerment to serve. Do you know you are being built as a place for God’s own spirit? Do you know your position with Christ? He says, call him Abba, Father, and reminds you, you are seated with Him in the heavenly where you are already blessed. Do you know he loves you? He showed this by sacrificing his only son as a price for your redemption and took away your poverty so that you can be rich. Do you know he adores you? He sent the Holy Ghost to comfort you. Do you know he wants to commune with you always? He says anytime you eat of the bread and drink of the wine you do so in remembrance of him. What do you remember at communion? The works of his body (Isaiah 54:1-5) and blood. Do you know he empowers you to do what you cannot do in your strength? “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes to you.(Acts 1:8a) Are you at the PLACE with the Lord? If not resolve this day to find and understand your place with him. Like Abraham, Jacob and Moses, you will be empowered to carry out your destiny as a teacher with power and not an enforcer with the will of man. Your place is a place of possibilities with Him, as with Him nothing will be impossible. Resolve to pursue your place with Him. Amen
